Measure over your working clothes.
Use the layers you normally wear on assignment so your harness has useful adjustment room.

Consider your camera load.
A properly fitted harness should remain balanced once your cameras and accessories are attached.

The legacy chart lists 6′5″ in both L and XL. If that applies to you, contact the workshop so chest measurement, shirt fit and preferred camera position can guide the decision.
