Warranty & returns.
Republic Leather Company accepts eligible returns within 30 days of delivery and continues lifetime workmanship support for Republic Leather and RL Handcrafts products.
Standard returns
Contact us within 30 days of delivery to request a return authorization. Items must be unused, unworn and returned in their original condition and packaging. Do not ship an item until we provide return instructions.
Return shipping
Customers pay return shipping for ordinary returns. Republic Leather Company pays reasonable return shipping costs when an item arrives defective, damaged or incorrect. We do not charge a restocking fee.
Refund timing
After the returned item is received and inspected, approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days. Your bank or card provider may require additional time to post the credit.
Exceptions
Custom-made, personalized, modified, used or damaged items are not eligible for an ordinary return unless they arrived defective or incorrect. Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.
Defective or incorrect items
Contact us promptly with your order number and photos of the item and packaging. We will review the issue and arrange an eligible replacement, repair or refund.
Limited lifetime warranty
Our limited lifetime warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship. Normal wear, accidents, misuse, improper installation, unauthorized alterations and natural leather variation are not covered.
Repairs and legacy products
Republic Leather Company supports eligible Republic Leather and RL Handcrafts products. Contact us before sending any product so we can confirm the repair process and current mailing instructions.
Natural marks, grain and color variation are authentic characteristics of full-grain leather and are not manufacturing defects. Policy effective September 15, 2026.
